Subject: Hello Brenda Body: Lymphedema to varying degrees is fairly common with Fabry. I am told it is most likely the result of GL3 build-up in the lymph system. It can also be very difficult to treat. I do know of patients where this can become quite extreme, normally in the legs. I have also seen others with whole body involvement. I am sorry you are having this trouble. The best advice I know is to continue treatment with your Lymphedema specialist. Sorry I don't have a better answer.
